day 6

we're getting to the point where they really look like their eyes could open at any moment.  since they are almost at ground level, we've had a few escapees.  they don't quite know what to do once they've tumbled out of their cabinet.  fortunately, mom is very good at scooping them up and getting them back into the nest.  i love this picture - especially the kitten with her little tongue sticking out, and the kitty on top, with her arms splayed out.  it's a million cute moments a minute here at the chez widow zoo!

Oh, Lisa, they are adorable.

Barn Kitty (yeah, I know, so original) had her kittens a few days before Mimi had hers. Our kittens are just about finished opening their eyes.
